Our noon position finds us in the Gulf of Thailand 60 miles off coast of the Vietnam and Cambodia borders. We are half way from Saigon to the port for Bangkok, Laem Chabang. It is mostly sunny and a warm 85 degrees.
LAST EVENING
Son just got on yesterday. She is Vietnamese and super nice.
Hearts of palm salad and we added the avocados with green goddess dressing. Tomatoes sucked!
I had the chateaubriand and it was perfect.Hearts of palm salad and we added the avocados with green goddess dressing. Tomatoes sucked!
Rebecca chose the grilled salmon with beluga lentils.
Tonight I chose the creme brulee. Very good. Friends who usually are at the table next to us.
TODAY
Rebecca streamed her soaps this morning and I made part of my 2023 "MRD" (minimum required distribution) to the IRS. Then we hit the treadmills.
I made some adjustments to our future tour plans. Not settled for sure yet however. My roof cameras are showing all the snow gone from the roof. I think the Durango winter is mostly over now.
This post will be a short one. At 6pm there is a Seven Seas Society "top-tier" cocktail party in the theater. We will make an appearance since we are "Diamond" tier now.
We will be dining in Compass Rose as Dara, our favorite waitress, will be going on vacation in two days. Tonight's show is featuring Shelly White's second show. She is a pianist. We will get new entertainers in Thailand.
We will be docked in Laem Chabang by 9am tomorrow. This port is a 2 1/2 hour drive south of Bangkok. We have been to Bangkok a couple times already. No tours planned for tomorrow. All the tours to Bangkok are 8+ hours long.
