DAY 80---CRUISING IN GULF OF THAILAND

 

Sailing in the South China Sea today enroute to Singapore.  Smooth sailing, partly cloudy skies with some passing rain showers in the distance, and 83 degrees.  Scheduled arrival is 10am but at noon the Captain said we would be early.  Captain Aivo will be going on vacation in Singapore.

LAST EVENING

                                                    Crab & avocado salad for my starter.

                                                            We both had the veal piccata.

 

                            I could only eat half of this apple & blueberry crumble tart.  Very good.

TODAY

         We got our tour tickets for the next segment of the world cruise today.  This current segment will end our second day in Singapore so some passengers will be disembarking and new ones embarking then.  We went through all the tours we had booked a year ago now and made some changes this morning.  Treadmill, showered, and lunch in La Veranda finished for today.

        At 6pm this evening there will be another "Krew Kapers", crew show and farewell reception.  We plan to attend this one as there are some new crew now in the show.  When in Singapore there will be another big crew change over.  Executive Chef John will also be leaving for vacation.  We shall miss him for sure. 

                We were getting a little tired of the beef Wellington so made a special request for panko coated shrimp as our entrees.  Tonight's show features the production cast in "Don't Stop Believing II".

It is a show that the cast made up on their own.  This is the second time they will have done the show and we loved the first one.  We will certainly be there.
