LAST EVENING
What a great group for our special Mexican dinner. L to R: Mary, Abby, Pat, and us. These girls are party girls!
Pedro serving the chicken fajitas and beef tacos.
Tres Leches cake was very good also. The dinner was great but too much food as always.
TODAY
Up at 7am as usual. Big problem however. Ship's toilet vacuum system was not working. Bad timing! Luckily back in service by 9am.
I went our on deck 6 for my morning fast walk. There was a deck hand stationed there as part of the lookouts for pirate boats. We are still in the HRA (High Risk Area) for pirates so there are crew positioned on all of the open decks as lookouts. Rebecca hit the treadmill as usual.
We had lunch in Compass Rose. Rebecca always has her Atkins bar for lunch. I had this pan fried tilapia fillet with a garlic cream sauce and mashed potatoes. Very good. This afternoon we watched the movie, "The Inspection". It is about a recruit going through Marine boot camp.
Our evening plan is to make my Manhattan and Rebecca's wine in the suite then take it to the theater at 6pm. Terry Bishop has a special pre-dinner show, "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" staring Terry and some fellow guest players. Should be interesting.
We will leave the theater at 6:30 as we will be dining in Sette Mari. Donald, maitre'd, has a table for us and Chef Anees will be preparing a veal parmesan for me.
This is the Compass Rose menu even though we will not be dining here. Tonight's show at 9:30 will be featuring two new entertainers calling themselves, "Duo Esencias". The guy is a violinist and she is a flamenco dancer. Will try to stay awake for this show.
