DAY 131---AT SEA IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN

Our noon position is cruising off the coast of Guinea enroute to Dakar.  We have 393 nautical miles (450 statute miles) left to travel.  It is a overcast and hazy day with temp of 80 degrees and 88% humidity.  Smooth sailing as winds are very light and less than 5 foot swells.
During his noon PA the Captain said that so far us world cruisers have traveled over 41,000 statute miles since leaving Miami on January 7th.

LAST EVENING

Terry Bishop's pre-dinner show was very good.  Passengers made up the cast.
Komang with my Italian red, Bardolino.
We shared this huge veal parmesan.  Once again very good but still could not eat all of it.
Side of spaghetti
They were very talented but their backup sound track was SOOOOO loud.  It was about to the pain thresh hold.  My right ear feels funny this morning.  Hated to walk out as we were on the front row again.  Won't be going to their second show.

TODAY

I got an early start to my walk today.  I was out on deck 6 by 8am and finished by 9:00.  After getting cleaned up I decided to head to the theater as at 9:45 the Captain, General Manager, and Food & Beverage Director had a question & answer session which lasted about 45 minutes and was interesting.
                                                            Captain Abhi, Nicki, & Nino
This afternoon Rebecca watched her soap then we watched the movie, "Tomorrow Never Dies".  It is a Bond movie filmed in an area we have been in on this cruise, Viet Nam.  Ha Long Bay to be precise.  Ha Long Bay, as you may recall from my photos, is a beautiful and very unique part of the world near Hanoi.  I thought it appropriate to watch today since I am Bond tonight.
This evening is our last formal optional night on the world cruise.  Tuxedo night for me and St John's outfit for Rebecca.  There is a Seven Seas Society cocktail party in the theater at 6pm.  We will make our appearance there before adjourning to the Mariner Lounge as usual for pre-dinner cocktails.  I will be having vodka martinis tonight as I will be "James Bond" in my tux.
As usual on Seven Seas Society night there is our favorite entree on the menu, miso glazed sea bass.  It always melts in our mouths.
The show tonight features the return of the flautist, Andrea Amat.  Didn't go to her first show so probably not going tonight.
We are scheduled to be docked in Dakar, Senegal, tomorrow by 11am.  Hopefully there not be a clearance delay as in the past few ports.
