Our noon position enroute to the Canary Islands where we will be tomorrow. It's a sunny day and 70 degrees. Smooth sailing again.
LAST NIGHT
Our Mexican dinner.
Chicken enchilada
Banana pie
Last night's production show was another fantastic one. There were not many in the audience but the kids still poured their hearts out doing the show.
Somehow I got some video/audio clips instead of photos. So you see some dancing and singing.
TODAY
Same routine this morning as usual followed by lunch in Compass Rose. Panko sea perch with fries.
This afternoon we watched this morning's taping of Terry Bishop's, "The Spanish Civil War" lecture. Then while Rebecca streamed one of her soaps, I watched the taping of a cooking demonstration by a guest chef showing how to cook salmon 5 different ways. One of his ways was very similar to my salmon in a pastry with mushrooms and spinach in with the salmon. Bet mine is better. Actually I think I got the recipe from my sister, Teresa. I also completed the online digital guest survey for this cruise segment. I also did some organizing as after today there are only 6 days left before we disembark in Barcelona on the morning of the 30th.
At 6pm there is a Seven Seas Society "top tier" cocktail party with entertainment in the theater. We plan on attending this.
Dinner will be in Compass Rose after that. Here is tonight's menu but we have again requested a special dinner--veal piccata with creamy polenta.
Tonight's show is featuring the orchestra's pianist and saxophone player at 9:30. Not sure if we will be going. We are to be docked by 8am tomorrow in Santa Cruz De Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands. I have a 9:15 tour. Tomorrow the new President of Regent Seven Seas, Andrea DeMarco, will becoming on Mariner for a few days. More about that tomorrow.
