Our noon position is about half way to Cape Verde. Our ride today in the Atlantic Ocean is a bit rougher than usual. This due to 30 mph winds and some swell. It is just 74 degrees with hazy skies.
LAST EVENING
Liver and onions were excellent. Apple & Blueberry Crumble Tart. YUMMY!!!
This was an amazing show produced and choregraphed by them. As I have said before, this cast is very talented.
TODAY
At noon the Captain said there were still some new cases of "respiratory illnesses" (read covid) among the crew. Yesterday only the food & beverage department crew had to be wearing masks. But today he said now all crew members would have to wear masks. In addition officers and staff could not dine with us guests. This policy would be reevaluated in 48 hours.
This afternoon we watched the movie "Angels & Demons" starring Tom Hanks. I would highly recommend you watch it. It is available on Amazon Prime Video. Now Rebecca is trying to stream one of her soaps. She also did some laundry in one of the laundrettes.
At 6pm the production cast singers will be doing a special pre dinner show singing Broadway and other musical favorites. We will take our cocktails and enjoy their show.
Marcia has made Prime 7 reservations at 6:30 for her, the two doctors, us, and Marge Goddard. We may be a few minutes late due to the show. I don't think Dominic, maitre'd, will mind.
Tonight's 9;30 show in the theater is featuring the second performance of the violinist and flamenco dancer. Definitely count us out!!! They are good performers but their sound track music is WAY too loud.
We shall be arriving at Porto Grande on the island of Cape Verde by 7am tomorrow. I was to do a 4 hour tour departing at noon but switched to a 7am departure for it. So up a little earlier tomorrow.
