Again you'll have to disregard the red lines. We are in the Coral Sea heading to Cairns on the northeastern corner of Australia. We will be docking there by 6am tomorrow. Unfortunately, all passengers will have to clear Australian immigration in the cruise terminal. I will be clearing on my way out for my tour. Rebecca is not going on the tour so she will clear later. It is a sunny day with just a few clouds and 85 degrees.
LAST EVENING
Sette Mari was pretty full last night.
They have starters on the buffet. I had a couple mussels, shrimp, anchovies, & prosciutto ham.
My veal parmesan
Rebecca had the penne bolognese.
She is probably the best female singer we have heard on a Regent cruise.
TODAY
There was a Sunday brunch in Compass Rose from 10am to 1:30pm again today. Seems everyone showed up at the same time as the lines were long at the food stations. I made a turkey sandwich with one slice of wheat bread and a cup of tomato soup. That's all I had for lunch. Might have had something else but the lines were too long.
Lots of foods. Not pictured were the hot entrees in buffet style line.
We are watching today's lectures now on our tv this afternoon. There is an interdenominational church service this evening at 5:30. Following it we will head to the Mariner Lounge for "communion". Ok, cocktail hour!! We will be dining tonight in Compass Rose with our friends from Southern California, Cathi & John Begg and Marge Goddard. Tonight's show is the production cast show, "Blazing Boots". It's our favorite!
