Our noon position today is cruising in the Arabian Sea. It is 81 degrees under sunny skies with some haze. 20 knots of wind but we're getting a smooth ride.
LAST EVENING
My favorite merlot. We both had the roasted black angus beef strip and a baked potato. My was good and perfectly cooked but Rebecca's was not.
I had to try this new dessert, Lilkoi cheesecake with macadamia nut crust and mangoes & passion fruit. I did not care for it so just one bite. I went to his show but only lasted 5 minutes before leaving.
TODAY
Rebecca is still very sore but somewhat depressed as she cannot do her treadmill time. I did my hour fast walk on the deck 6 promenade this morning.
There is a Mexican food buffet at the pool grill today from noon to 2pm.
This is my plate.
This afternoon we watched the movie, "The Voice". Great movie about the greatest female singer of all time, Whitney Houston. So sad she ended her life at age 48. Rebecca had Whitney and Bobby Brown on a flight from Washington DC to Miami. She can't remember the year. Rebecca was the first class flight attendant and she remembers they sat in seats 6E & F, last row of first class. Last thing Whitney said to her was "Rebecca, God bless you".
At 6pm Terry Bishop and cruise directors Paul & John (John will be replacing Paul in Dubai) will be commemorating this day, April 12, 1861, when the north and south went to battle in what would become the American Civil War. This historical moment will be retold in words and pictures. It should be very good so we will be attending it.
Probably stop when passing through the Mariner Lounge on our way to Compass Rose for a quick cocktail.
Tonight's menu The show at 9:30 in the theater is featuring vocalist Isabel Commandeur's second show. We did not see her first one so will try to see this one.
Another hour back on our clocks tonight in order to be on Oman's time. We will then be 12 hours ahead of Durango's time. Another day at sea tomorrow.
